I’m Bruce Bradbury—an Oregon filmmaker originally from Hood River, now living and working in the state’s capital city, Salem.
I got my start in 2017 at the Randolph Technical Career Center, where I trained under AFI-certified cinematographer Carlos Diaz and learned how to shape emotion through light, framing, and editing. At the time, I aspired to make Hollywood movies—but I quickly realized I didn’t want to wait years to get real experience. I wanted to dive right in.
I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Film from Portland State University. Outside of my studies, I loaded up on work-study jobs. I worked with the PSU Communications Department to help produce branded media campaigns, joined the campus AV team, and supported the men’s basketball program—recording and live-streaming games to Pluto TV. One of my proudest moments was at UCOMM, capturing photos that were featured on the Portland State homepage.
Today, I work as a freelancer and for-hire talent. I also create content for my own YouTube channel, which has grown to over 1,200 subscribers. That’s my testing ground. I use it to stay sharp, explore ideas, and experiment with the same tools and tactics I now use with my clients. Let’s build content that connects and converts.
